Dola AI Video - AI Video and Image Creator

Dola AI Video is an online AI video and image generator that transforms text prompts and uploaded photos into videos and visual content. It combines Seedance video models and Seedream image models in one browser-based workspace, allowing users to create product demonstrations, social media clips, promotional videos, AI-generated images, and concept art without installing software. Users can customize aspect ratios, resolutions, video duration, and generation models to balance output quality, speed, and credit consumption. The platform also offers watermark-free downloads, permanent storage for generated creations, and commercial-use options subject to its Terms of Service and the applicable AI model providers' terms.

1. Text-to-video generation

Dola AI Video converts written prompts into AI-generated videos. Users can describe scenes, products, lighting, camera movements, and visual styles to guide the output. Supported video durations are 5, 10, and 15 seconds, making the feature suitable for short-form content, product advertisements, and creative previews.

2. Image-to-video conversion

Users can upload an image as the first frame or specify both the first and last frames to guide video generation. This feature helps transform existing product photographs, illustrations, and other static visuals into moving content.

3. Reference-to-video generation

The platform supports reference materials to provide additional creative direction, including up to nine reference images, three reference videos, and three audio clips. These inputs offer more control over visual style and motion than text prompts alone.

4. AI image generation and editing

Dola AI Video includes Seedream models for generating images from text prompts and editing or restyling existing pictures with reference images. This allows users to produce visual assets alongside video content in the same workspace.

5. Multiple Seedance and Seedream models

The platform provides four video models and four image models for different quality, speed, and budget requirements.

   Model	Main advantage
Seedance 2.5	Highest listed video quality, up to 1080p
Seedance 2.0	High-quality video generation at a lower cost
Seedance 2.0 Fast	Faster video generation
Seedance 2.0 Mini	Lower-cost video drafts
Seedream 5.0 Pro	Image generation up to 2K
Seedream 5.0 Lite	Fast, affordable image generation
Seedream 5.0 Flash	Low-cost image generation
   Seedream 4.5	General-purpose image generation

6. Customizable video settings

Users can select aspect ratios of 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, and 21:9. Resolution options include 480p, 720p, and 1080p, depending on the selected model. Seedance models also support synchronized sound generation.

7. Watermark-free downloads and permanent storage

Generated videos and images can be downloaded without an added watermark and accessed later through My Creations. The platform states that generated content is stored permanently, while uploaded reference files are deleted after 30 days.

8. Credit-based generation and secure payments

Each generation consumes credits according to the selected model and settings. The platform displays the credit cost before generation, automatically refunds credits for failed generations, and processes payments through Stripe. Subscription credits and purchased credit packs do not expire.

What is Dola AI Video?

Dola AI Video is a browser-based AI video and image generator that turns text prompts, photographs, and reference materials into visual content. It is designed for content creators, online sellers, marketers, and users who want to produce videos or images without a traditional production workflow.

How does Dola AI Video work?

Users enter a text prompt or upload images and other supported reference files, select a Seedance or Seedream model, and configure the generation settings. The platform then creates the requested video or image. According to its website, image generation usually takes about one minute, while video generation typically takes one to five minutes, depending on the model and settings.

What types of content can I create?

Dola AI Video supports text-to-video, image-to-video, reference-to-video, text-to-image, and image editing with references. Common applications include e-commerce product videos, social media clips, advertisements, promotional content, storyboards, and concept art.

What video formats and resolutions are supported?

The available aspect ratios are 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, and 21:9. Videos can be generated in 5-, 10-, or 15-second durations. Seedance 2.5 and Seedance 2.0 support resolutions up to 1080p, while Seedance 2.0 Fast and Seedance 2.0 Mini support up to 720p.

Does Dola AI Video offer free credits?

The website states that it does not offer a free trial or free generation credits. Users can start with a paid subscription or purchase a credit pack, with packs starting at $5.

Can I use generated content commercially?

The platform states that its downloads are watermark-free and can be used for commercial projects, subject to its Terms of Service and the terms of the underlying AI model providers. Users should review those terms before using generated assets in advertising, client projects, or commercial products.

Do Dola AI Video credits expire?

No. The website states that credits do not expire, including credits already purchased or held through a subscription. Subscription credits are added according to the billing period, while credit packs add credits immediately.

What happens if a generation fails?

The platform states that credits are refunded automatically when a generation fails. Users are charged for successfully generated videos and images according to the displayed credit cost.

Can I cancel or change my subscription?

Subscriptions can be canceled through the account page, and access continues until the end of the current billing period. Direct plan switching is not currently supported. To change plans, users must cancel their existing subscription and subscribe to the new plan after the current period ends.

Advantages

1. Versatile creative workflow: Dola AI Video combines AI video generation, image generation, image editing, and reference-based creation in one platform. This can reduce the need to switch between separate tools when preparing visual content.

2. Flexible model selection: The four Seedance video models and four Seedream image models provide options for different budgets and quality requirements. Lower-cost models are useful for testing prompts before spending more credits on higher-quality output.

3. Transparent generation costs: The platform displays the credit cost before each generation. Failed generations are refunded automatically, and unused credits do not expire, making it easier for users to manage their spending.

4. Practical output options: Multiple aspect ratios, video durations, and resolutions support common content formats, including vertical social media videos and landscape promotional clips. Watermark-free downloads and stated commercial-use permissions add value for creators and businesses.

5. Convenient browser-based access: Users can generate content without installing dedicated software. Permanent storage in My Creations also makes it easier to retrieve previously generated assets.

Areas for improvement

1. No free trial: The absence of free credits means new users must pay before testing the platform's actual output quality, prompt adherence, and suitability for their projects. A limited free trial would make initial evaluation easier.

2. Credit costs can add up: High-resolution videos and longer generations consume more credits. Although the platform shows costs in advance, frequent users may need to monitor their usage carefully to avoid exhausting their monthly allowance.

3. Limited video duration: The maximum listed duration is 15 seconds. Users who need longer sequences, detailed narratives, or complete marketing videos may need to generate multiple clips and edit them externally.

4. Output quality requires evaluation: The availability of advanced models does not guarantee consistent results for every prompt. Users may need several attempts to achieve accurate product details, natural movement, consistent subjects, or specific visual compositions.

5. Subscription management could be more flexible: Users cannot switch plans directly and must wait until the current billing period ends before subscribing to another plan. More flexible plan changes would improve the experience for users whose content production needs fluctuate.

Overall, Dola AI Video is a practical option for AI video generation, AI image creation, and short-form visual content production. Its combination of Seedance and Seedream models, reference-based workflows, and transparent credit pricing makes it relevant to creators, e-commerce sellers, and marketing teams. However, the lack of free credits, credit consumption for high-quality output, and short maximum video duration are important considerations. Users should compare the available models and test their intended workflows before committing to a subscription.
